Story outline 2.0 (COMBINED) - Yanice & Jade
Exposition

In the first world war (Canada vs Germany), a German scientist goes stupid after creating the ultimate weapon – the “Cuckoo” virus. The virus has a lifelong impact, making one who is infected incredibly stupid if they inhale the green stardust produced from the virus. The scientist hands the virus to the Germany army but since the scientist was stupid, he threw it to the Canadian army instead. Luckily, the Canadian army was wearing gas masks so they were not infected. (The virus can be physically seen). According to artifacts left by ancestors, cures for severe viruses have been guarded by a legendary creature known as the “Spirit of the North” for billions of years. 

 

After successfully stealing the virus and destroying the German army, they entrusted their greatest soldier to get rid of it, not knowing his gas mask had a hole so he was already infected. The infected soldier decided to throw the virus into the waterfall but because he was stupid, he fell into the water instead. On the other hand, the Cuckoo virus fell into a hole caused by explosives and stayed there for 3 years, buried deep into the dirt. 

 

Rising Action

Years later, a group of people from Clover Village discovers the virus by accident and decides to bring it home. Unfortunately, the virus then launched its deadly stardust attack and the entire village was infected. One person survived and decided to run to another village to warn the others.

 

Soon, people were beginning to hear about the Cuckoo virus and were determined to find the cure for the virus. The Canadian government sent out an announcement saying that the person who found the cure would be heavily rewarded. Many had tried but came back infected with stupidity on their way of searching for the cure. After hearing that anyone who tried to search for the cure got infected, the people’s determination began to fade away. 

 

The protagonist Alex was born in a crappy small village with a severely sick mother at home who doesn’t have the money to get cured. Alex was a young and fearless explorer, who had heard many creepy tales of how people who went searching for the cure got infected, but he believes that someone has got to search for the cure to save the country, and why couldn’t that someone be him? So he decided to set on an adventure. One is because he wanted to save the peoples of the country, two, if he actually finds the cure, he could use the money rewarded by the government to cure his mother.

 

Climax

According to legends left by early ancestors, the Spirit of the North lives in the heart of the Rocky Mountains guarded by many many obstacles (evil plants and beasts that escaped from hell), and the obstacles carry the Cuckoo virus which makes it easy to infect explorers. As Alex embarks on an epic journey, he ventures into the untamed wilderness. The journey was arduous, with treacherous terrains and unpredictable weather, but Alex pressed on, fueled by the desire to uncover the cure. 

 

Along the way, Alex encountered various challenges and met fascinating characters who shared their wisdom and guidance. From wise old hermits to indigenous elders, each encounter provided a piece of the puzzle that would lead Alex to the treasure. As Alex delved deeper into the wilderness, they discovered hidden caves, ancient ruins, and breathtaking landscapes. The clues left behind by previous treasure hunters guided Alex through the maze of nature's wonders.

Denouement

It wasn't just the physical challenges that Alex faced. Along the journey, Alex had to confront his own fears and doubts. The Spirit of the North tested their courage and determination, pushing them to their limits. Through perseverance and self-discovery, Alex grew stronger, both mentally and emotionally. 

 

Finally, after months of exploration and countless trials, Alex stood before the legendary Spirit of the North. The creature, a majestic and ethereal being, was impressed and approved of Alex's bravery and perseverance, so it gave the cure to him. 

 

Alex returned to the village, sharing their experiences and the lessons learned on the journey. He used the cure to cure the infected and used the money rewarded by the government to cure his mother. In the end, everyone’s happy and Alex lived a rich life with his mother.
